Tenby South beach, Pembrokeshire

amanda's picture

St Catherine's island forms part of the picturesque scenery found in Tenby. It can only be reached at low tide from the South beach so remember to check those tide times before traveling. A ruined fort stands on top of the island and is now a favourite location of urbexers (see second link) and sea birds. The island is best photographed at dusk.

Tenby itself is also a great place for photography and indeed a summer get away, boasting a picturesque cobbled town, harbor and golden beaches.
