This is an amazing site for a number of different photographic viewpoints. Architecturally the place is stunning with lots of Italian influence. The gardens are great for plants a and trees and the waterfalls and ornamental ponds. Walk further into the gardens and there are Japanese gardens with pagodas as well. The walk down through the village is pleasant enough but depending on your age, once you get to the bottom you may recognise it from the TV...it was used as the home of The Prisoner, starring Patrick McGoohan, and it was filmed there. There is a museum shop for the TV series on site. Once down at the cove - the waterfront is spectacular, but depending on the season be careful of stepping into the sand which can be deceptive and suck you in up to your knees. (This advice comes from personal experience) Alternatively this place is great for model shoots... wedding photography and even candid work with all the tourists milling around. Thoroughly spectacular site.
