When I wan't the weather had been reasonably dry with only a little rain, this meant that the waterfall wasnt as strong as it could have been, that said, I am fairly happy with what I got.

A beautiful 5 miles walk through the glens of two rivers, which I was advised would take 2-2 1/2 miles, but was getting on for over 3 hours by the time I had finished faffing and photographing.

A beautiful location, with a long but steady walk up to Goat Fell, with a nice established footpath, showing views of the Witches step formations.

Scale Force Waterfall may not be as well known as Aira Force, but in my opinion it's equally as impressive and from a photographer's perspective a great location.

Pwll Y Wrach is a small nature reserve just outside the town of Talgarth. I visited just for the waterfalls, there are a couple of small ones on the way but the main one is at the far end of the reserve.
