Restored windpump on bank of River Thurne.  Best viewed from opposite bank of Thurne Dyke.  Can be a busy location during holiday periods and weekends when moored river craft may obstruct view.

Brograve drainage mill is a fine example of dereliction, set in a remote position about a miles walk from the nearest road. The red brick building is now just a shell, and the skeletal remains of the sails are just about hanging on.

The spillway at Pontsticill Reservoir is well worth a visit but make sure you go when the water is actually draining. For this reason it's probably best to visit outside of the summer months and best to keep an eye on the weather forecast prior to going.

Luddington Weir is located just outside of Stratford upon Avon in the village of Luddington. It offers great opportunities to get close to the weir and is suitable for long exposures of the water flowing over the rocks.

Check tides before you go! (Liverpool bay should be ok, just add ten minutes on to the times) Try to time it so you get there 3 hours either side of high water (on about an 8 meter tide) as they do cover over. The walk down is slippery, so wear some good boots/wellies.
