york train station
York Train Station is a great opportunity to photograph some classic Victorian architecture most of which has been preserved in this historic station. There are no barriers in operation so access to the platform is unrestricted.

Tynemouth Metro station is one of the oldest and grandest stations on the Tyne and Wear Metro network. The railway station was opened in 1882 and is now a Grade II listed building. It has been recently refurbished to its former glory.
This is an operational rail/wagon-way claimed to be the oldest in the UK. The working train runs on a Sunday only, but the whole place provides excellent opportunities for all lovers of trains, decay, rust etc.
This has to be one of my favourite local photography locations, I return to it time and time again and always come away with something new! The focus of this location is the redundant railway bridge which crosses over the River Avon.
