Osmotherley is the archetypal North York Moors village; streets with trees and grass to each side, a cross in the centre, a couple of pubs and shops, narrow passages running between the houses, and the odd hen pecking around.

This is a brilliant place for photographers visiting the Lake District. There are plenty of car parks but quite expensive for the day and there is plenty to do.

Derelict
Steetley Pier

A fantastic location for a huge variety of shots, capturing Steetley pier is a must! There are a lot of derelict buildings around so makes for some really unique captures. Please be careful around this site as there is a lot of open covers and high falls.
