Whitsand Bay is pretty popular with local photographers as there's plenty of interesting rocks along the coast. It's a shallow beach so the tide flies in so you have to be careful not to get stuck!

Boscastle can be a challenge to shoot. It's not your typical beach, rocks, sunset picture location. However, the sunset from the cliffs just past the harbour can be magical. Theres a small quay just in from the cove which could make some interesting shots with the boats.

If you find yourself on the Isles of Scilly, particularly St Mary's, facing west at sunset means the sun in the later summer months sets over Samson Island, an uninhabited part of Scilly.
